FPV Drone Retrieval Net
FPV Drone Retrieval Net
The FPV Drone Retrieval Net by Curro is a non-electronic, kinetic counter-UAV solution designed for the physical capture of FPV drones and small unmanned aerial vehicles. Engineered for single-operator use, the system provides an effective alternative to electronic jamming in environments where RF interference is restricted or undesirable.
The system features a dual-net launch design, enabling simultaneous deployment of a near-range capture net and a far-range capture net. The near net measures 8 × 8 meters and is optimized for close-range interception, while the far net measures 12 × 12 meters and extends effective capture distance for approaching FPV targets.
Upon launch, both woven nets are ejected at high speed and rapidly expand in flight, forming a wide capture envelope that entangles propellers and airframes. This mechanism allows the system to neutralize fast-moving FPV drones without relying on signal disruption.
With a compact launcher length of 700 mm and a total system weight of approximately 4 kg, the FPV Drone Retrieval Net is easily carried and operated by a single person. The launcher supports flexible usage modes, allowing the near net and far net to be deployed independently or in combination, depending on the tactical scenario.
Typical applications include close-range perimeter defense, critical site protection, temporary security operations, and scenarios where rapid, visually guided drone capture is required with minimal collateral impact.
